Kim Nadel Dionne Rivera Li Plaskon Originally from Montreal, Kim’s green interior design career has spanned over 15 years. Co-founder of NICHE, NCIDQ certified interior designer and LEED Accredited Professional, Kim received an MS degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. She is currently on the MFA faculty of the New York School of Interior Design teaching Green Design. She is the co-author of The Green Pages: The Contract Designer's Guide to Environmentally Responsible Materials and Products, published in 1993, which was used as a requisite for all Conde Nast 4 Times Square building tenants. Kim was chosen by Hospitality Design magazine as one of the top 20 leaders in the industry to influence design in a positive direction. She has enjoyed lecturing throughout the country to designers and architects on green living since 1995 and her work has been published in a variety of publications including Interiors, Hospitality Design, and Natural Home and Garden. Her design style, which incorporates the principles of Vastu - an ayurvedic approach to holistic design - is highlighted in Kathleen Cox's latest book, Space Matters, published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang. Kim's broad knowledge allows her to work within a diverse range of creative projects that promote green living and inspire others to create in a sustainable way. Presently she resides with her family in San Diego. Dionne joined the firm in 2008 as Design and Furniture Sales Assistant. She attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles majoring in Fashion Design. After years working in this field, she took her unique style and passion for green design to pursue a career in the interior design business. Dionne quickly established a reputation for developing highly accessible and individual aesthetic results for a discerning clientele. She has 16 years of experience designing residential and commercial interiors, furniture, and lighting around the country. An in-depth knowledge of furnishings and furniture construction combined with her diverse design background has enabled her to work closely with clients on marketing and sales of the SHAPE series. Li has over 14 years of experience as a graphic designer and art director. Li has developed effective branding systems and marketing communications for a wide range of leading organizations including Anixter, Nortel, First Marathon, Pro-Genesis, Fila, Compatibles Agrees Du Québec, Bum Equipment, Glaxo Wellcome and Novartis. Li has been working in the architecture industry since 2004. Her focus is on strategic visual communications with an emphasis on identity design/branding and signage. She achieves quality results through her design ability, collaboration with clients, team members and external suppliers. She is a graphic design graduate of Dawson College in Montreal and has attended Concordia University's Design Art program.
